你也许以为这是一个具有中国特色的词语，没想到外国也有类似机制！请你自己查找一下“硕博连读”怎么说。
另外，词典上查不到的俚语、俗语，可以用Google搜索，即使査不出解释，也可以找到无数上下文供你猜测其含义。
Google的特点是，输入的关键词越多，查出来的结果越少，但越有针对性。有时，关于某个专业的文章或资料较少，输人一组关键词没有査到一个结果，你可以减少关键词的数量，或者换一组， 重新查找。关键词不仅限于文本中出现的词，也可以是文本之外大背景中的词。例如，文章中虽未提及“中国”一词，但因讲的是中国的事情，“中国”也是关键词。把英语译为汉语时也一样。即使找不到一个英语词的汉语翻译，至少可以通过平行文本或英英词典了解它的意思。当然,如果网上查不出来，还可以用其他方式查 找，或请求原文作者或翻译委托人协助。
