中国国家主席习近平在2013年提出“一带一路”建设，六年来取得了积极成效，带动了沿线国家经济社会发展，也受到越来越多的国家欢迎。“一带一路”秉持和平合作、开放包容、互学到鉴、互利共赢、平等透明、相互尊重的精神，在共商、共建、共享基础上开展合作。“一带一路”是当今全球经济发展面临严峻挑战的形势下提供的有效平台和合作方式。“一带一路”是加强多边合作、反对贸易保护主义的重要举措。

今年中国将举行第二届“一带一路”高峰论坛。中方将在两国签署的“一带一路”合作文件基础上，与索马里加强政策沟通，增进两国合作原则、举措及前景的沟通了解；加强民心相通，增进两国人文交流、培训、能力建设等方面的合作，巩固和拓展两国传统友好；加强融通发展，增进两国发展战略对接，推动有效的务实合作。现在世界上越来越多的国家认识到“一带一路”的重要意见和巨大机遇，积极加入。目前已经有一些中国企业赴索马里考察建设水泥厂、饲料加工厂等，相信随着索马里和平安全发展，将有越来越多的中国企业赴索马里。
This April, the Second BRI Forum for International Cooperation will be held in Beijing. China and Somalia signed a cooperation document of the BRI in September last year. China will strengthen policy consultation with Somalia to enhance communication and understanding of the principles, measures and prospects of cooperation between the two countries, strengthen people-to-people exchange with Somalia to enhance cooperation in cultural exchange, training and capacity building between the two countries, consolidate and expand the traditional friendship between the two countries, strengthen the integration of development with Somalia to enhance the infrastructure connectivity, promote effective and pragmatic cooperation between the two countries. At present, more and more countries in the world recognize the importance and great opportunities of the BRI and join it. The Chinese side encourages Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Somalia, some Chinese enterprises have visited Somalia on building of cement factories and feed processing factories. It is believed that with the peaceful and safe development of Somalia, more and more Chinese enterprises will go to Somalia.
2018年中非贸易额达到2040亿美元，中国对非洲投资存量已经超过1100亿美元。去年中非贸易增长了20%，非洲对中国出口增长了30%，中国已经成为非洲出口增长最快的市场。中方欢迎索马里产品出口中国市场，包括渔产品。中方鼓励中国企业赴索马里投资发展，希望索马里为中国企业创造良好就业环境，开创合作共赢局面。
在穆罕默德总统领导，索马里政府将国家发展建设列为优先事项，制定相关政策和规划。索马里的发展应找准突破口，发挥自身优势，建立自主发展产业，培育经济发展能力，希望索马里人民在实现自主发展方面不断取得新的成就。
In 2018, China-Africa trade reached US$204 billion, and China's investment stock in Africa has exceeded US$110 billion. Last year, China-Africa trade grew by 20% and Africa's exports to China grew by 30%. China has become the fastest growing market for Africa's exports. China welcomes Somali exports to the Chinese market, including fishery products. Hoping that Somalia will create a favorable investment environment for Chinese enterprises, so as to create a win-win situation for cooperation.
Under the leadership of President Mohammed Abdullahi, the Somali government has made national development and reconstruction a priority and formulated relevant policies and plans. Somalia's development should find a breakthrough, give full play to its own advantages, establish its independent development industry, cultivate the ability of economic development,and hope that the Somalia will continue to make new achievements in realizing independent development.
