Speech by H.E. Deng Ying on the opening of "Chinese Film Festival"
尊敬的帕奈力女士，
尊敬的贝森巴赫主席，
尊敬的各位使节，
女士们、先生们：
大家晚上好。非常高兴参加今天的“中国电影节”开幕式。首先，我谨代表中国驻丹麦使馆对各位的到来表示热烈欢迎。对丹麦电影协会、中国国家电影局为此次活动所做的大量工作表示感谢。

Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good evening! I am very glad to attend the opening ceremony of the "Chinese Film Festival". First, on behalf of Chinese Embassy in Denmark, I'd like to extend my warmest welcome to you all, and to convey my appreciation to the Danish Film Institute and the Film Bureau of China for their great efforts making this event possible.
今年是中丹建立全面战略伙伴关系十周年。此次“中国电影节”是庆祝“十周年”的重要活动之一。电影是展示一国文化的窗口，也是增进各国人民相互了解的重要途径。此次电影节除在哥本哈根、奥胡斯等城市举办外，还将走进格陵兰，是中丹建交以来规模最大、时间跨度最长的电影交流活动。
This year marks the 10th anniversary of China-Denmark comprehensive strategic partnership. This film festival is one of the important events celebrating the 10th anniversary. This year the festival will be held in Aarhus and Greenland besides Copenhagen.
It is the most influential bilateral film exchange in terms of length and scale since the establishment of China-Denmark diplomatic ties. Films serve as a window and a bridge to enhance understanding among people from different cultures.
