2. 后置法

在英语原文中原因状语从句多位于句尾，其意义在于对结果的补充说明，汉译时采用后置法（或称为顺译法）将从句保留在后面。如：

* A diode can be used as a rectifier because its current flows in one direction. 

二极管可用作整流器，因为电流在二极管中只朝ー个方向流动。

* Ductility is also important because it is a measure of that property of a material which permits it to be cold-worked.

塑性之所以重要还因为它是材料冷作性能的衡置尺度。

* Among the advantages of this system is the almost complete elimination of the need for pesticides and herbicides, as the controlled conditions reduce the possibility of pests and diseases.

这一系统的优点之一就是几乎完全不需要杀虫剂和除草剂，因为受控条件減少了病虫害产生的可能性。
