决气/Jue Qi
(The Energies)
黄帝日:余闻人有精、气、津、液、血、脉，余意以为一气耳，今乃辨为六名，余不知其所以然。岐伯曰:两神相搏。合而成形，常先身生，是谓精。何谓气?岐伯日:上焦开发，宜五谷味，熏肤，充身泽毛，若雾露之溉，是谓气。何谓津?岐伯日:腠理发泄，汗出溱溱，是谓津。何谓液?岐伯日:谷入气满，淖泽注于骨，骨属屈伸，泄泽，补益脑髓，皮肤润泽，是谓液。何谓血?岐伯曰:中焦受气取汁，变化而赤，是谓血。何谓脉?岐伯曰:壅遏营气，令无所避，是谓脉。
Yellow Emperor said: "I am told that there are essence of life, vital energy, thin fluid, fluid, blood and vessel in human body. Formerly, I thought they were all energy, now I know they are six and have different names and I do not know why they are divided into different kinds?"Qibo said: "When the Yin and Yang sexes approcaching each other, they combine and form a new body; the substance that produces the body exists prior to the body is called the essence of life. "Yellow Emperor asked: "What is vital energy?" Qibo said: "When the upper warmer disperses the refined substances of the five cereals which warms the skin and the muscle, fills into the physique and moisten the fine hairs like the dew moistening the grasses and woods, it is called the vital energy." Yellow Emperor asked: "What is thin fluid?." Qibo said: "When the striae excrets plenty of sweat, it is called the thin fluid. " Yellow Emperor asked: "What is fluid?" Qibo said: "When cereals enter into the stomach, the vital energy will fill the whole body, the moist juice permeates into the bone marrow causing the bone joints to become smooth and be able to bend and stretch freely, the refined energy of the cereal will invigorate the cerebral marrow inside and moisten the skin outside, it is called fluid. "Yellow Emperor asked:"What is blood?" Qibo said: "When the stomach of the middle warmer receives the food, absorbs its refined substance and transforms it into red fluid, it is called blood. " Yellow Emperor asked: "What is vessel?" Qibo said; "It is like setting a dyke to guard against the energy and blood to run rashly without scruple, it is called the vessel. "
黄帝曰:六气者，有余不足，气之多少。脑髓之虚实，血脉之清浊，何以知之?岐伯曰:精脱者，耳聋;气脱者，目不明;津脱者，腠理开，汗大泄;液脱者，骨属屈伸不利，色天，脑髓消，胫疫，耳数鸣;血脱者，色白，夭然不泽，其脉空虚，此其候也。
Yellow Emperor asked: "In the six kinds of energies stated above, some are having a surplus and some are insufficient, how can one know whether the vital energy is plenty or less, the fluid is asthenic or sthenic and the blood is lucid or turbid?"Qibo said: "When one's essence of life is asthenic, his ears will be deaf; when one's vital energy is asthenic, his eyes will be dull; when one's thin fluid is asthenic, his striae will be open to have a lot of sweat; when one's fluid is asthenic, it will cause his bone joints fail to bend and stretch nimbly, his complexion will have no lustre, his cerebral marrow will not full and his legs will be sore; when one's blood is asthenic, the colour of his skin will be pale and dark without lustre; when one's vessel is asthenic, his vessel will be empty. These are the methods of examining whether the six-energy is plenty or less, asthenic or sthenic and lucid or turbid.
黄帝曰:六气者，贵贱何如?岐伯曰:六气者，各有部主也，其贵贱善恶，可为常主，然五谷与胃为大海也。
Yellow Emperor asked:"In the six energies. which one is most important and which one is less important?" Qibo said: "In the six energies, each of them is dominated by a certain viscus respectively; generally, the status of the most important, less important, good or bad in each of them may not change constantly, but all the six energies take the five cereals as the source of existance."
