名言“What will be will be”，怎么理解？

Let the past be past. What will be will be.
大家知道怎么翻译吗？
其实前半句还挺容易的， past 做名词表示“过去”，所以 Let the past be past 的字面含义就是“让过去成为过去”。
后半句可能有点烧脑，我们在中间价格逗号断下句，意思就比较清楚了：
What will be, will be.
表示“将来会发生的事情，也必然会发生”，说得通俗一点就是“该来的总会来”。
What will be, will be 来自于美国50年代电影《擒凶记》的主题曲，同年入围奥斯卡最佳原创歌曲奖
歌曲名叫 Whatever Will Be, Will Be (Que Sera, Sera)，中文翻译为“顺其自然”。
Que Sera, Sera 就是 what will be, will be 翻成西班牙语的念法。
再回到这句话：
Let the past be past. What will be will be.
意思了解吧，“过去的已经过去，该来的也总会来”。
