看完《长津湖》后，我从中挑了六句台词进行翻译，也看到一些其他的不同翻译。
1.打得一拳开，免得百拳来。
2.伤亡不值得夸耀，挺住就是一切。
3.枪口永远不要对准自己人。
4.有些枪必须开，有些枪可以不开。
5.没有打不死的英雄，只有军人的荣耀。
6.我们出生入死，就是为了他们不再打仗。
咱们一句句来对比以下翻译
第一句：打得一拳开，免得百拳来。
我的翻译：A heavy punch can prevent a hundred punches.
人家的翻译：A heavy blow will deter a hundred more.
首先，他的 will 就用得比can 好，“免得百拳来”暗藏了将来时。
其次，这个 deter 用得太妙，表示“震慑、使...打消念头”，比我的 prevent 好太多。
最后，他的“a hundred more”比我的“a hundred punches”更简洁，避免了重复。
第二句：伤亡不值得夸耀，挺住就是一切。
我的翻译：Casualties should not be flaunted. Survival is everything.
人家的翻译：Casualties are nothing to be proud of. Staying alive is what counts.
首先，我的“should not be flaunted”确实显得太文绉绉，他的“nothing to be proud of”就很霸气了。另外，“is what counts”的用法也令人耳目一新。
第三句：枪口永远不要对准自己人。
我的翻译：Never point the gun at any one of us.
人家的翻译：Never point a gun at one of our own.
