叠词（reduplicated word)是汉语的一种特殊词汇现象，使用非常普遍。汉语的名词、数词、量词、形容词、副词、动词以及象声词都有重叠变化。
对于商务汉译英中出现的叠词，我们可以采取以下几种方法：
① 借助every, all, each等词语。
例1 我公司生产的产品样样都称心如意。
译文：All of our products are very satisfactory.
例2 谈判时不要斤斤计较。
译文：Do not haggle over every ounce in the course of negotiation.
例3 他们的营销战术是步步为营、稳扎稳打。
译文：Their marketing tactics is to go ahead steadily and entrench themselves at every step, and then strike sure blows.
②使用同一个单词，中间用after,in, to, upon，with，and以及连字符 (hyphen)连接起来使用，或者用逗号（，)隔开重叠使用，它类似于汉语中的重叠现象。
例4 一天一天、一年一年，他们努力为公司研发新产品。
译文：Day after day and year after year, they are grinding over new products for the company.
例5 买方要么就一点也不相信我方，要么就完完全全相信。
译文：Buyers trust us not at all or all in all.
例6 他读啊读，读了整整一天，终于把这合同读完了。
译文：He read and read, and finally got the contract through after a whole day.
例7 走呀走，走了很久，我们的销售员才走到目的地。
译文：Our salesmen walked on and on. It was after a long walk that they arrived at the deslination.
例8 我方售后服务员仔仔细细检查了所损货物。
译文：Our after-service workers examined the damaged goods very, very carefully。
③ 用复数形式翻译。
例9 一群一群的人蜂拥般走进股票证券交易所。
译文：Crowds of people swarmed into the exchange of bonds and shares.
例10 大批大批的货物被搁在港口。
译文：Thousands of goods have been held up al the seaport.
④进行综合处理，用语义相符的英文表达方式。
例11 经理听着听着不觉哈哈大笑起来。
译文：As the manager listened he burst into laughter.
例12 我们的事情太多了，做都做不完。
译文：There are too many things for us to attend to.
例13 他思绪滚滚，早已忘却约会一事。
译文：He had been so busy with his own emotion that he had forgotten about the appointment.
例14 我们应扎扎实实地杷这个问题解决好。
译文：We must work in a down-to-earth way.
⑤采用have( or make, take，give，etc. ) +名词的结构。此结构中的名词大多与动作动词有词源关系。
