六、the more...the more 的译法
the more...the more句型在科技英语中的应用极为广泛。在这种结构中，一般前面是状语从句，后面是主句。汉译时多采用顺译法，译为“越……越”。如：
* The more electrons are removed, the higher the degree of doping and the greater the conductivity.
掺杂程度越高，电子迁移越多，导电性也越强。
* The finer the diamond particle size, the easier it becomes to plate multiple layers.
金刚石的粒子越细，就越容易进行多重电镀。
