* The computing unit has to obtain instructions from the memory and interpret them at the instruction decoder.
* 计算单元必须从储存器获得指令，并在指令译码器译出这些指令。
* That heat flows from a hotter to a cooler body is a process of energy transfer. It tends to equalize temperature.
热从高温物体流向低温物体是一个能量传递过程。这个过程使温度趋于平衡。（it指前面整个句子）
3. 互换
就是将英语原文句子中的名词（先行词）与代替该名词的代词it，在翻译时进行相互换位。具体的译法就是将it译为该名词，将名词译为“它”，使译文更符合汉语的表达习惯。如：
* Whatever it is, document management is big business.
无论文档管理指的是什么，它都具有巨大的商业空间。
* Although it shone like silver, the polyacetylene film was not an electrical conductor.
尽管聚乙炔膜像白银ー样闪亮，但是它并不是导体。
4. 省译
在不影响译文转达原文意思的情况下，it也可以省去不译。如：
* The vapor condensed into smoke and mist when it came in contact with ambient air.
蒸气与周围空气接触时，凝聚成烟雾。
* Oxygen blown into it had stimulated bacteria to eat the toxic wastes.
注入氧气，促使细菌吞噬掉有毒的污物。
