A. 保留语序——顺拆法。如：
(1) The first elected Russian president, the man who declared what once was the world's largest nation, the Soviet Union, extinct, Boris Yeltsin resigned on December 31, 1999 after eight years in power. 俄罗斯第一位民选总统，向世界宣告世界上最大的国家--- 苏联---解体的一代政治家，布利斯•叶利钦，执政8年后，于1999年12月31日辞职。（新闻文体风格的语言常用复杂的修饰或同位结构来铺垫信息，注意此处同位结构的处理）
(2) His delegation agreed with the Executive Director that the fund should continue
working for a better understanding of the inner relationship between economic, social and
demographic factors. 他的代表团同意行政总裁的看法，认为该基金会应该继续运作，以求促进经济、社会和人口各部门之间更好的了解和交流。
(3) There is nothing more disappointing to a hostess who has gone to a lot of trouble or expense than to have her guest so interested in talking politics or business with her husband that he fails to notice the flavor of the coffee, the lightness of the cake, or the
attractiveness of the house, which may be her chief interest and pride. 最令女主人失望的是，她花了许多心思或费用来招待客人，可是这位客人只顾津津有味地与她的丈夫谈政治、谈生意，却没注意到香喷喷的咖啡，松软的糕点，或房间内讲究的陈设，而这些可能才是她最感兴趣和引为自豪的。
B.倒拆法。如：
(4) He had to quit the position and went in exile, having been deprived of his power.
被剥夺权カ之后，他被迫辞职，流落他国。
(5) There are many wonderful stories to tell about the places I visited and the people I met.要说起我去过的地方，遇见过的人，精彩的故事可不少。
(6) I believe strongly that it is in the interests of my countrymen that Britain should remain an active and energetic member of the European Community. 英国应该继续成为欧盟中积极而充满活力的ー员，这是符合我围人民利益的，对此我深信不疑。（或，我强烈地认为，英国应该继续成为欧盟中积极而充满活力的ー员， 是符合我国人民利益的。)
(7) I was all the more delighted when, as a result of the initiative of your Government, it proved possible to reinstate the visit so quickly. 由于贵国政府的提议，我得以尽快重新对该国进行访问，我感到更加高兴。（或：我感到更加高兴，由于贵国政府的提议，我得以尽快重新对该国进行访问。)
