例一:

我们向您处订购照相纸及化学药品,己有两周。贵方9月15日来函承认收到订单。但由于我们一直尚未收到交货通知,不知贵方是否对我们的订单有所疏漏。

贵方代表在电话中曾允诺及早交货,这是他说服我们在您处订货的重要因素。延误交货已遭成许多不便。烦请贵方立即交货,否则我们将不得不取消这份订单,另选厂家。

It is now two weeks since we placed our order for photographic paper and chemicals. You acknowledged the order on 15th September, but as we have not yet received advice of delivery we are wondering if the order has since been overlooked.

When your representative called, he promised early delivery and this was an important factor in persuading us to place the order with you. The delay in delivery is now causing much inconvenience so we must ask you to complete the order immediately. Otherwise we shall be obliged to cancel it and obtain the materials elsewhere.


例二:

您处知道,在我们10月15日3322号定单上,强凋了最迟要在12月1日前交货。

我们还两次去函提醒贵方准时交货。时至今日,我们别无选择,只有取消定单。希望您处确认取消此份定单。

As you see, in our order No.3322 of October 15th, we stressed the importance of delivery by 1st December at the very latest.

We have already written to you twice reminding you of prompt delivery, but as you have failed to make delivery on time you have left us with no choice but to cancel the order. We should be glad if you would kindly acknowledge the cancellation.
