[1]“ The sudden impact of a vessel with a stationary object such as an anchored vessel or a pier. ”Cf. Bryan A. Gamer, Black's Law Dictionary, 7th edition, at p. 75, West Group (1999).
[2]“ Striking together of two objects, one of which may be stationary. The term implies an impact or sudden contact of a moving body with an obstruction in its line of motion, whether both bodies are in motion or one stationary and the other, no matter which,in motion. ” Cf.
