4. all of +名词的译法
all of +名词（可数或不可数）常常译为“全部……都”，如：
* All of the charges resided on the surface of the conductor.
全部电荷都分布在导体表面。
* All of the heat lost by the warmer object in cooling is gained by the colder object.
较热物体冷却时失去的全部能量都被较冷物体所获得。
5. all后接定语从句的译法
all后接定语从句时，没有固定的翻译方法，需译者根据原文的意义，结合汉语的表达习惯来灵活处理。如：
* All that can be done is to convert energy from one form into another.
只能把能量从一种形式转变为另一种形式。
* All that we know as vitamins, and hormones as well as deadly poisons are all sort of organic chemicals.
我们所熟知的维生素.荷尔蒙以及致命毒药都是有机化学物。
6. not all 和 all...not 的译法
当all与not连用时，构成not all或all....not句型，表示部分否定，汉译时可译为“并非所有”。如：
* Not all signals of interest have finite energy.
并非所有我们关心的信号都有有限的能量。
* Properly speaking, not all substances exist in three states.
确切地说，并非所有的物质都有三种状态。
* All castings are not made in sand.
不是所有铸件都是在砂型中铸造的。
