3. 省略介词
商务英语中词与词、词组与词组之间的关系，通常用连词或介词来表示——实际上介词用得更频繁;而汉语却多用词序来表示上述关系。因此，在英译汉时，许多英语介词往往可以省略。
例 8 Our purposes are to promote cooperation and develofanent by means of Practical Business English Translation infomiation sharing, and to promote mutual prosperity by means of joint development.
译文：我们的目的是通过沟通促进合作发展，通过共同发展促进繁荣。
例 9 Exquisite in structure，durable in use.
译文：结构精巧，牢固耐用。
例 10 We have your name and address from the commercial office of Chinese Embassy in England.
译文:我方从在英国的中国大使馆商务办处得知贵公司的名称和地址。
例 11 We are a state-owned company dealing specially with the export of tablecloth.
译文:我方是一个专营桌布出口的国有企业。
4. 省略动词
在英语句子中，有些谓语动词只与具有实义的名词词组搭配使用，本身表意作用很小或根本无表意作用，这类动词在英译汉时可以省略不译，而将与之搭配的名词（词组）转译为汉语动词。
例 12 Delivery must be effected, within the time stated on the purchase order.
译文:必须在购货订单规定的时间内交货。
例 13 The actual date of the completion of the purchase shall coincide with the availability of the new facilities.
译文:到新设备供应时再进货。
5. 省略代词
(1) 省略所有格代词
在英语句子中，当指代前述主语表明所有关系，或指代前述主语表明动作的逻辑主语或宾语关系时，必须用与主语一致的所有格代词，但汉语在这方面却无硬性规定，有时候省略不译更符合汉语的表达习惯。
例 14 A firm needs to reduce its costs and obtains the best prices possible for the merchandise.
译文:企业需要降低成本并使商品达到尽可能优惠的价格。
