为“律师事务所”正名

“律师事务所”随着市场经济之深得人心，成为人们言词交际中的常用词。但是“律师事务所”有时被错译为“lawyer's
office” (或“lawyers office”）者屡见不鲜，其实，笔者认为“律师事务所”的正确译名除“law firm”之外，"law
office" 而不是“lawyer's office" :
1. The most accurate calendaring software for law offices.
2. Whether in a law office or courtroom, what you wear may be almost as important as what you say.
3. It allows lawyers to file lawsuits without leaving their law offices .
4. Apple has about 10 percent of the law office market.
5. Martin Lee met with TIME Hongkong Bureau Chief in his Hongkong law office.
6. Leather furniture for law office .
有一年，笔者曾跟踪观察香港《南华早报》上律师事务所招聘广告，广告辞中的“律师事务所”都是作“law office”的，无一例外。 以上这些例句，当然也完全可以说明问题。
