四、和主句合译成简单句
和主语从句一样，宾语从句也可以和主句合译成一个简单句，特别是那些较短且结构简单的介词宾语从句。这样译出的句子显得相当紧凑。试看以下各例。
10. X-rayswill show the doctor clearly how the lung suffers.
利用X光，医生可以清楚地看到肺部病变的程度。
11. This principle means that it may be possible to determine where an electron is.
这一原理意味着有可能测定电子的位置。
12. Electric power can be easily transmitted to where it is needed.
电力可以很容易地输送到需要的地方。
