规章制度的翻译要简洁明了

原文：
给公司造成重大损失的，公司将依法追究其法律责任。
原译：
If anyone causes great loss to the company，the company will pursue his legal responsibility.
改译：
In case of severe losses, the company will take legal action against the persons concerned.
说明：
原译用语不够正式。要避免使用人称代词，尤其是涉及性别的代词。
原文：
印章保管人对印章具有独立使用权力，同时负管理责任。
原译：
The chop keeper has the right to use the chop independently，but at the same time he has to take responsible for the management of the chop.
改译：
The custodian has full authority to use and control the use of the seal.
说明：
原译语言罗嗦，不够正式。
