* He developed a computer model based on the data accumulated in these studies.

* A few people were infected with the AIDS virus through blood transfusions.
曾有少数人通过输血传染上艾滋病毒。
* This, too, was something which was completely at variance with the known laws of nature.
这同样完全不符合当时已知的自然法则。
一般将来时的译法
英语一般将来时主要表示将要发生的动作或状态，或事物发展的趋势。汉译时可译为“将”、“将会”、“会”、“便”、“就”等。如：
* An insufficient supply of air will prevent complete combustion.
空气供应不足将会妨碍完全燃烧。
* The cyclones will make the removal efficiency increase.
旋风分离器会使分离效率得以提高。
