三、译为状语成分
如果汉语分句与另一分句的谓语部分有密切关系，并且进一步说明其状况或全句的状况，可译为其状语。
7. 全部成品出厂前必须在试验室进行检验，严格把关，一丝不苟。
All products must be inspected strictly and scrupulously in the lab of the factory before delivery.（副词作状语）
8. 把锁相环设计稍加改变，线性偏离就能超过5.0kHz。
With a few simple changes in the PLL design, the linear deviation in excess of 5.OkHz can be obtained.（介词短语作状语）
四、合并近义词
汉语的两句分句中，如动词的意义相近，则其中一个可以不译，以求简练。
9. 本文研究一个实例，探索在一个医疗单位里如何利用通信工具来提高医疗护理工作的质量。
The article is a case study of how to use telecommunications in a medical unit to improve the quality of health care.
10. 电镀后的机械零件外观用肉眼检查，看是否有表面缺陷。
