基于功能翻译理论关于翻译错误的概念和分类以及前文关于逆向汉英语篇翻译的论述，分析山东省4A级及以上景区概览介绍性汉语文本及对应英语译文各30篇。这些文本不包括上述两个关于“蓬莱概况”的汉语原文和英语译文及一个因错误太多而不可接受的“赤山景区 ” 的“译文”及其原文。译文总词数是20 263 (据电脑统计），共计854个英语句子，平均每篇约675词、28句，每句24个英语单词。主要分析程序是，据翻译的认知原则、翻译目的-功能原则，分析译文本身（以词为统计单位）和对比分析译文和原文（以句为统计单位），识别、分析、统计存在的翻译错误，并就其他难以统计的问题作出评估。具体翻译错误及数据如下（见表1)。
A. 包括英语字母大小写（54)、标点符号、断词和空格（56)、 单词拼写（132)在内的错误共计242处，约占总单词数（含标点符号在内）的 1.2%。例如，they 写为 the (the learned from the inhabitants)， dinner 写为 diner (A moment later, the diner is ready)，is 写为 in (Kuiwen Apricot Altar in said to be...)，Labor force Hall 中未大写 F, Liugong island Museum 中未大写 I，Fuo Gang (“佛光”音译）应为 Foguang.
B. 每处语法错误按一个单词统计，语法镨误共计87处，占到总单词数的0.43%。例如，词类问题，如，excitedly写为excited (He then shouted excited to):习用表达形式问题，如，Once upon a time 写为 Once upon the time / according to 漏掉 to;数的问题，如，圣 commercial boat... missed their routes / It is the earliest one of typical areas for study the geology of Cambrian Period / the Mount Tai / on the dimly clouds;也有一些时态、语态等问题，如All forane hills are engulfed in the clouds and only few of them emerged / While breeze blowing, the cloud waved like sea water and the hills conceal and emerge as mysterious fairy islands.
C. 如果不考虑与原文的翻译关系，英语文本内部词汇使用错误或搭配不当共计48处，占总词数0.24%。例如，4.08 km in its width, ...1.5 km in its length / jumped onto the shore and rushed to the beach / Civilized Scenic Spot / ...and Qingdao Freshwater Fish Center, becoming a hot spot for marine ecotourism / an interest place of travel and holiday for human beings / perplexing geologic structure / the posterior emperors / The whole process is like a peak of perfection which likes thousands of polychrome pictures brought by a lofty magician / flickering the blaze / The picturesque of the Mount Tai has various sceneries.
