这些术语均是指证券或期货交易所的经纪人。它们之间的区别在于 account executive (也称为 stockbroker，account representative) 为“业务经纪人”，其位于交易所之外，主要负责与客户打交道，接受客户的买卖指令且将此种指令传达到交易所。而floor trader或floor broker则为“场内经纪人”，指位于交易所交易庭现场，负责具体执行该客户的买卖命令的另一类经纪人。 由此，一桩证券或期货交易通常须经此两种经纪人通力合作才予以完成。

The account executive could be located in any town or city and the account executive deals with his or her customere, conveying their orders to the exchange.
