但要注意的是，在翻译中运用此类替代法应有ー个限度，千万不可单纯为了表现自我而滥用汉语习语，结果破坏了原作的整体意义、文体风格和修辞效果。在使用替代法之前，我们首先要弄淸原义，决不能望文生义；其次要用准确、妥贴的习语或形象比输来替代之，决不能想当然地乱用一气；还要注意避免用带有明显汉语语言和文化色彩的词语来替代，造成文化错位现象。下面就是ー个比较典型的滥用汉语成语的例子：
