六、双方同意深化贸易、旅游、投资、产能、民生等经济领域合作，促进共同发展。

双方将在中尼经贸联委会框架下，建立投资合作工作组和常秘/副部级或其指定代表组成的贸易畅通工作组，促进双边贸易投资往来。中方欢迎尼方参加将于2019年11月在上海举行的第二届中国国际进口博览会国家展。

6. The two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in various fields of economy including trade, tourism, investment, capacity of production and improving people's livelihood so as to promote mutual development.

Under the framework of China-Nepal Joint Commission on Economy and Trade, the two sides will establish a working group on investment cooperation and a working group on trade led by secretary/vice minister-level officials or their designates so as to facilitate bilateral investment and trade. The Chinese side welcomed the Nepali side to participate in the National Exhibition of the Second China International Import Expo to be held in Shanghai in November, 2019.

为增进两国贸易关系，双方将进行全面探讨。中方将采取积极措施，帮助尼泊尔产品扩大对华出口。中方愿考虑为尼方建设多功能实验室提供必要技术支持，并为塔托帕尼边检站全面发挥作用提供必要合作。为促进两国贸易投资，尼方将为中资银行在尼泊尔开设分支机构并开展其他金融服务提供便利。双方将尽快履行国内手续，争取中尼过境运输议定书早日实施。

双方欢迎签署关于尼泊尔柑橘输华植物检疫要求的议定书，并同意尽早签署关于食品进出口安全合作谅解备忘录。

Both sides will hold comprehensive discussions with a view to strengthening trade relations between the two countries. The Chinese side will take positive measures to expand Nepal's export to China. The Chinese side will consider providing technical support for the establishment of a multifunctional laboratory in Nepal and extend necessary cooperation to make Tatopani Frontier Inspection Station at Larcha fully functional. Nepal will facilitate the Chinese banks to open their branches and other financial services in Nepal with a view to facilitating trade and investment between the two countries. Both sides will complete their internal procedure at the earliest time for the operationalization of the Protocol to the Transit Transport Agreement and try their best to implement it at an early date.

Both sides welcomed the signing of the Protocol on Phytosanitary requirements for the Export of Citrus Fruits from Nepal to China and agreed to conclude MoU on Cooperation on Import and Export of Food Safety at the earliest.

双方将继续按照“企业主体、商业原则、市场导向、国际惯例”原则开展产能与投资合作。

双方将在2018年6月21日签署的《关于能源合作的谅解备忘录》基础上，充分利用中尼能源联合工作组的平台，开展水电、风电、光伏、生物质等新能源以及电网等领域的交流与合作。双方同意联合开展中尼电力合作规划，并在一年内完成规划编制工作。双方同意，将中尼电力合作规划作为下一步两国电力合作的重要参考，推动中尼电力务实合作落地。

The two sides will continue cooperation on production capacity and investment according to the principles of "dominated by enterprises, respecting business principles, adhering to market-orientation and following international common practice".

On the basis of the Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Cooperation between the National Energy Administration of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Energy, Water Resource and Irrigation of Nepal signed on 21st June 2018, both sides will bring into full play the Joint Implementation Mechanism (JIM) on China-Nepal Cooperation in energy sector, to carry out exchanges and cooperation in the fields of hydropower, wind power, solar power, biomass energy and other kinds of new energy as well as grid system, etc. Both sides agreed to jointly carry out China-Nepal Electric Power Cooperation Plan and complete it within one year. Both sides agreed to take this Plan as an important reference for the next step of bilateral electric power cooperation and promote its implementation.

尼方对中方为尼泊尔发展提供的宝贵支持，以及为尼泊尔2015年地震后重建提供的及时、主动和慷慨的帮助深表感谢。

中方高度重视尼方为纪念已故人民领袖马丹·班达里，希建设马丹·班达里科技大学的愿望，愿在尼方选定适宜校址后尽快提供支持。双方将在中方考察工作组提交的报告基础上继续商谈。

中方愿加快推进加德满都供水水质改善与提升等项目。

The Nepali side extended its deep appreciation to the Chinese side for the valuable support it has been providing in Nepal's development efforts and for the timely, spontaneous and generous support extended to Nepal's reconstruction after the earthquake in 2015.

The Chinese government will continue to provide assistance to Nepal's economic and social development within its capacity with an emphasis on strengthening cooperation in the field of improving people's livelihood.

The Chinese side attached great importance to the aspiration of the Nepali side to establish a multidisciplinary Madan Bhandari University for Science and Technology as a mark of respect to People's Leader Late Madan Bhandari and will extend support at the earliest date after the Nepali side chooses suitable site for the University. Both sides will continue their discussion on the basis of the report to be submitted by the site visit working group of the Chinese side.

The Chinese side is willing to expedite the project of improving the quality of supplied water in Kathmandu.
